Amy Freelunch travels to Providence, Rhode Island, the birthplace of H.P.Lovecraft, to give a talk to students at Brown University. Her plans to reunite with an old friend with a shady past who mysteriously disappeared two years ago, are thwarted by a combination of a lack of meds and the weird atmosphere of the town. Instead, Amy plays a selection of classic American performance art pieces inspired by the disquieting surroundings of her hotel room.
Penumbra Carter talks to artist and musician Misprint Thursday about her
involvement in the creation of "Theorem, music inspired by the sciences", and how
collaborative sessions over the internet
